I am a regular at this restaurant with my partner and the staff are always fantastic and the food
impeccable. While I don't come here for a cheap night out, the experience is well worth the price.

Such great food, my husband took me here the night he proposed. Great ambience, relaxed
atmosphere. Love it.

Went on a Wednesday night, after deciding we didn't feel like cooking. Papadums on the house.
Lamb Korma and spicy some chicken tomato dish were fantastic.
Also got complimentary port and spices at the end. Was quiet, because of the rain, but we weren't in the mood for a busy restaurant anyway. Best Indian in ages.

I am currently visiting Sydney from England and have tried a few Indian restaurants in the city area but have generally been disappointed with the quality of the food. I decided to look a little wider and was advised to
try the Bakhara at Double Bay and I was not disappointed. The restaurant offers both Mauritian and Indian meals which provides a wide variety of choices. From my own experience, I can recommend the
Seafood Masala and the Goat Curry, my only disappointment was that I didn't have the appetite to also try one of the very tempting mauritian meals.

Nice food great service and a place you can go to for a quick dinner before the movies or a nice long dinner.
Overall good Indian food.
